St. Milagres Bank Hangal organized a small program at Roshni Social Action Centre, where gifts were distributed to 25 differently-abled children.

An environmental awareness program was organized in Aladakatti village under the joint auspices of Roshni Trust, Hangal, Janavedike, and the Village Development Committee. The program was inaugurated by Chandappa Katannanavar, a member of the Senior Citizens Association. Members of the Mahila Self Help Society planted saplings on the premises of the AladakattiValmiki Community Bhavan and encouraged the young women of the Sewing Training Center to promote environmental concern by distributing 50 saplings to the youth and the general public.




An environmental awareness program was organized in Aladakatti village by Roshni Trust, Hangal, Janavedike, and the Village Development Committee. The program, inaugurated by Mr. Chandappa Katannanavar from the Senior Citizens Group, featured sapling planting by SHG members at the Aladakatti Valmiki Community Bhavan. Fifty saplings were distributed to the youth and the general public to promote environmental awareness.
TheVanamahotsava program organized by representatives of Gundur Children’s Panchayat under the guidance of Roshni Trust was held at Sewalal Temple. Gram Panchayat member Kumar Lamani was the guest. Women’s Sangh members Gauravva Lamani, Hakkavva Lamani village elders Chandrappa Lamani, RangappaNayak and Advocate Sister Veronica V S who came as the inaugurator spoke to the children to create awareness onProtection of Environment.



Hanagal Roshni Trust(R) and Bangalore Indian Social Institute, Young Vision Hanagal, Loyola Vikasa Kendra Hanagal and Akkahadevi Mahila Mandal of Belgaalpet in collaboration with Youth Empowerment Training Workshop was organized at Guru Bhavan in Hanagal. Fr.Balaraj, Director of Indian Asocial Institute, Bangalore inaugurated the event.
Mr. Manjunath was the Resource Person of the day , all together 42 youth have participated and benefited.


Lambani cultural fair program was organized in the institution under the guidance of ReshmeSamajSevaSanstha with the aim of preserving and developing Lambani heritage art. TalukPanchayat KDP member Rajesh Chauhan inaugurated the programme. 8 teams participated in the art fair and performed the Lambani cultural dance art to convince the people that their community’s art is the best art at the national level.



Volleyball tournament was organized for the youth in the premises of Roshani School. The tournament was inaugurated by Haveri District BharatiyaJanata Party Vice President RajasekharKattegowdru. Sr Anita D’Souza, Director of Roshani Organization, Advocate Sr Veronika, Jana Vedike Leader Kalim Masanakatti, Palakshaya Hiremath, Ramachandra Shidlapur, Satish Ankole were present in the program. Volleyball teams from 8 villages of the taluk participated and won the first prize Aladakatti, second prize Shivpura, third prize the youth of Netaginakoppa village and developed sports spirit.


Shanthi Sandesha Trust, Roshni IRCA , organized Antidrug Abuse Day in collaboration with Sneha Sadan trust, Byadagi, S.S.P.N High school , Byadgi, Haveri University, Health and Family Welfare Development Department, Police department Haveri and Agricultural Produce Market Committee (A.P.M.C ). Pledge was taken by all the participants. Rally and Street play was done. Awareness was created on Antidrug abuse and illicit trafficking. Prevention and treatment process was explained to them.






Roshni Social Service Center organized a program of distributing educational materials. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Kumar and presided over by Sr Anita D’Souza, the director of Roshni Organization Sr Janet, the organization’s supervisor and Mr. Kaleem were present. A total of 20 children participated and received educational materials.




Roshani Social center Organization, Hanagal inaugurated a sewing training center at Aladakatti village. Sr Anita D’Souza, Director of the organization, led the program. Participants included Rajeshwari Hanakanahalli, Kavitha Goudageri, Reshma Katannanavar from Adarsh Taluk Women’s Union, as well as Chandappa Katannanavar, Neelamma Savanoo from Senior Citizens Association, and campers from Hunsikatti Village Sewing Training Center at Aaladakatti Inam Dyamanakoppa.
