Ten days residential camp for the children of inclusive education program was held at BCM hostel Herur. Various activities are conducted for the children.

Deliberations of the camp emphasized the need of Inclusive education of Children with disability as Children with disabilities are among the most stigmatized and excluded in their age group. They are likely to have poorer health, less education. This leads to less economic opportunity when they grow up, and are more likely to live in poverty and deal with greater inequalities than their peers without disabilities. Furthermore, girls with disabilities face even more discrimination due to gender, disability and other compounding factors such as poverty and ethnicity.

The camp focused on sensitization of parents, teachers and other members of the society on need of inclusive education of children with disability.
