Children Grama Sabha
Children Grama Sabha was organised at Wardi. 600 children came together to express their problems with local elected members and officials.
Open House programme
In Shadguppi Panchayat open house programme was organised. Hundreds of children expressed their problems infront of officials and sought solutions. Elected grama panchayat members, PDO and school teachers were present.
International Women’s Day Celebration
On 8/3/2022 Roshni Social Action Centre along with Adarsha women federation jointly organised international women’s day. Around 1000 women participated in the rally and stage programme. Women participated in cultural programme. Mrs. Akshatha KC, Mrs. Hema Sarjan, Mr. Shrinivas Mane, Sr. Gretta Sanjiveeni were present.
Distribution of the aids and appliances for Day Care Centre
Mr. Sharon Alva the national vice president of humanity first foundation along with his team
distributed the aid and appliances to physically challenged children.
Jyoti Tailoring Unit closing ceremony programme
Jyoti Tailoring Unit closing ceremony programme was organised at Mantagi. Distributed certificate for all the members who have completed the course as well as the exam.
Staff Training
Awareness programme for Staff was organised at Roshni Campus about TB and other health related
issues by health department team of Hangal Taluk.
Eye Camp
Roshni Social Centre organized free eye camp for all the member s of Hangal Taluk. In which 356 participated in the camp and 218 were selected for the operation in Lion’s hospital Sirsi at free of cost.
Staff Training
Roshni Trust organized staff training for the Roshni Staff. Fr. Herry Terry SJ was the resource person of the day. Staff were enlightened on the Constitutional Rights Specially on FIR, Fundamental Rights, Women Rights, and Procedure of the cases in the Court.
Nimma Pustaka namma Joligege
Nimma Pustaka namma Joligege Programme was organised by Roshni at Mathagi Panchayat. Children, Panchayat members and Roshni staff went to House to house collecting books. 492 books was collected and handed over to the local library.
