Republic Day Celebration – 26.01.2022

On the occasion of Republic day Roshni trust organised a well systemised program to honour the Indian flag and the freedom fighters who brought the constitution in existence. The program started with garlanding the portrait of BR Ambedkar and Mahatma Ganghiji then the President of Muncipality Mr. Nagappa Soudatti hoisted the flag. Later on Mrs Sheela & Sr Janet Pinto gave a speech on how the constitution came into existence and the program ended by distributing the sweets.

 

Visit to Suverna Soudha- Belagavi

All the staff of Roshni Trust, Hangal, Lok Munch leaders, Youth members concerned with Roshni Trust visited the Suverna Soudha assembly at Belagavi to observe the convention on 23rd of December.

Christmas Celebration

Christmas celebration was celebrated in a grand success at the community hall near Roshni trust. Many religious members were invited as guest. On behalf of De-addiction centre all the sober were facilitated and for getting more patients to the de-addiction centre. Even below poverty village families were distributed with food kits.

World Specially abled Day

Roshni Trust organized World Specially abled day on 3rd of December 2021. Many specially children with their parents participated in the program. The doctor was invited for the program to give the awareness to the parents and later on, the children were observed and had a check-up by the doctor and gave the prescription to the parents.

Constitution Day

Constitution day was organised in the Community hall near Roshni Trust, in which MLA Shrinivas Mane was chief guest, other community leaders, members of the staff, and village people participated. Nearly 1000 people gathered and awareness of the constitution was conveyed to the people.

Childline se Dosti – 14th November

On the Occasion of Children’s day, Roshni Social centre organised and inaugurated a program “Childline se Dosti” wherein the children were given awareness about the child help line 1098. Students were given an opportunity to express their views and feeling at the time of Covid 19 pandemic in the press meet conducted.

Specially Abled Children Camp

The Co-ordinators of the Roshni Social Action Centre organised a two day education camp for Specially abled children at Akkialur , Hangal Tq on 12th & 13th of november. They conducted various competitions to students and distributed prizes to encourage the children with disability

Deepavali Celebration

Roshni Social Action Centre organized a program based on inter-religious harmony on the 3rd of November. On this occasion, different religious leaders gave a talk, and especially family members of the staff were invited to the program.

We also celebrated the festival of Lights at the village to commemorate the people.

Inspection by Sr. Lydia Serrao

Sr. Lydia Serrao the General Co-ordinator for Social, health, and legal apostolate paid her visit to Roshni to check the files, documents, programs and address the staff. She appreciated the good work carried at Roshni and gave her valuable suggestions for further improvement.

World dumb and deaf day celebration

The international dumb and deaf day was observed at Roshni. B.E.O, E.S.I, Press reporters, ASHA, and parents of children with disabilities (Deaf & Dumb) were present. 4 children with disabilities who have secured good marks in SSLC exams in 2021 were honored by Roshni.
