Taluk Advisory Board meeting of childline program was organized by Roshni in CDPO office Hangal. Tahasidhar Mr. Eriswamy P.S presided over the meeting. Government officials from the women and child welfare department, Police Department, Education Department, Saksharatha Department, various NGO representatives were present.

The interreligious get-together was organized in view of Eid Milad. Different religious leaders were invited to give the message on Eid Milad

In order to uphold the dignity of girl children Beti Padhao, Beti Bachavo program was organized. Games were organized for the children. A memorandum was submitted to Thasildar for the effective implementation of, beti bachavo Beti padhao at Roshni Social Action Centre on 11/10/2021.

Roshni Social action center had organized Gandhi Jayanthi on 2 nd of October 2021 , in which all the staff members participated very actively. Shramadhana was undertaken in order to encourage Swatch Bharath Abhayan

Child line Cluster advisory committee meeting was held at DC office. Child related issues were discussed and solution was sorted out.

The de-addiction awareness program was organized in Mantagi village. 38 people were present and became aware of the consequences of Alcoholism and the treatment process of Roshni IRCA.

After the successful completion of 1-month of treatment at Roshni IRCA, a discharge program was organized on the 4th of August.

Cultural Activity is a part of the Deaddiction program. All the patients exhibited their talents by performing different activities

St.Mother Theresa’s death anniversary was observed with physically challenged children. Clothes and study materials were distributed with the help of local donors. 60 deserving children participated in the program and had the joy of receiving things.

 

Training on Constitution values was organized for the staff of Roshni, L.V.K, and Sneha Sadan at Roshni Social Action Centre. Fr. Jerald D’ Souza was the resource person of the day’s training. 58 Participants benefited from the training and were determined to change their concept of Social Work.
