On 15th of July free eye camp was organized under Lokmanch programme in collaboration with Rotary hospital Sirsi. 246 Outpatients with various problems participated in the camp, had their eye check up and gained the facilities. Out of which 148 were referred for the operation

 

On 14th of July Federation camp for the parents of Disability children held at Roshni campus. Given information on Social security scheme and starting of day care center

 

Training for the representatives of SHG Members was held at Roshni on 13th of July on taping social security scheme. 26 women have participated and benefited from it.

 

On 9th of July the awareness program for Children helpline 1098 was held at Hangal Market. The Awareness was given about child marriage, child labor, begging children, lost children and many other problems were the children face in day to day life

On 12th of July 2021 We have organized Covid 19 Awareness campaign for the Leaders of Janavedicke at Roshni. Given awareness of the fast spread of covid virus, how its spreading and the loss and pain of many people. Dr. Manjunath Gouda said that we need to take the precaution and need to be very careful and be prepare for the 3rd wave by wearing mask and social distance.

 

• Covid awareness drive programme was held in 32 villages, Panchayat members, Ashaworkers and Anganawadi workers were the great support to create awareness to the people of the villages.
• Ration dry kits were distributed to Asha Workers, Disabled Children families, Ambulance drivers and for the senior citizens
• 20 kits, PPE kits, face masks and needed items were given to the Tasildar to distribute to the deserved one’s
• We have visited 2 covid care centers and distributed food items to the covid patients.
• Tasildar had organized Taluk level meeting on Covid Awareness drive for the Doctors, NGO’s
  and we were part of that meeting.

 

Construction workers ‘group meeting was conducted, youth have become aware of their rights of having their entitlement and many have accessed the same.

Roshni has identified 22 girls who are poor, orphan and single parents, Roshni supports for their education and gives moral assistance. With the help of local donors we have distributed study materials to these children.

Rangoli competition was organized for unorganized youth in two villages, youth were very much interested to participate and exhibit their talents. 36 youth were part of the competition.

14 Construction workers issued labor cards and became aware of the government facilities which are available to them.
