Roshni Social action center had organized Gandhi Jayanthi on 2 nd of October 2021 , in which all the staff members participated very actively. Shramadhana was undertaken in order to encourage Swatch Bharath Abhayan

CAB Meeting

Child line Cluster advisory committee meeting was held at DC office. Child related issues were discussed and solution was sorted out.

Awareness Program

The de-addiction awareness program was organized in Mantagi village. 38 people were present and became aware of the consequences of Alcoholism and the treatment process of Roshni IRCA.

Discharge Programme

After the successful completion of 1-month of treatment at Roshni IRCA, a discharge program was organized on the 4th of August.

Cultural Activity

Cultural Activity is a part of the Deaddiction program. All the patients exhibited their talents by performing different activities

Death Anniversary of St. Mother Teresa

St.Mother Theresa’s death anniversary was observed with physically challenged children. Clothes and study materials were distributed with the help of local donors. 60 deserving children participated in the program and had the joy of receiving things.

 

Training on Constitution Values

Training on Constitution values was organized for the staff of Roshni, L.V.K, and Sneha Sadan at Roshni Social Action Centre. Fr. Jerald D’ Souza was the resource person of the day’s training. 58 Participants benefited from the training and were determined to change their concept of Social Work.

 

 

Sponsorship Programme

Roshni has adopted 20 children for educational purposes. These children are single parents or parentless. Every year through local donor’s clothes, bags, study materials, and fees is given to children. On this day the girls who had been the beneficiaries and are now in government posts had come forward to help the children.

Lokmanch Training

Lokmanch leaders of 18 villages had come forward for monthly meetings and training on the construction workers unions. It was a participatory meeting. Where leaders had a plan for their union.

 

 

Leadership Training

Leaders are made and not born that is why women of the federation had their networking meeting with other federation leaders. It was inspiring and motivating for our leaders. Women were encouraged to take a stand for their rights.
