Submission of Memorandum to THO
Jnanajyothi disable children’s parent federation members submitted the Memorandum to Taluka Health Officer ( THO ) regarding delay of health cards
Women’s Day Celebration
Women’s day was organized in Aladakatte custer , 450 women participated and understood the importance of the day. Six women Panchayat members were honored for their leadership and success.
Open House Program
The Open House program was organized in Havanagi Primary School. Panchayat members, Teachers, and Students were part of this program. Children put forth their problems of the school.
NREGA
National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme was implemented in Savansagi village. 48 members have benefited from this scheme.
Youth Leaders Training
Leadership Training was organized for unorganized youth at Nisseema Aladakatti, Hangal. 45 members were participated and became aware of the leadership qualities.
Exposure programme for Janavedike Leaders
A one-day Exposure program for Lokmanch leaders was arranged for Murdeshwar, Idugungi and the training was organized on Janavedike Sustainability. All together 50 Lokmanch Leaders and staff participated in it.
Health Camp
Roshni Social Action Centre organized a free Health Camp in Collaboration with Saptagiri hospital Bangalore, for all the people of Hangal Taluk. 368 members have benefited from it and 35 members are referred for the operation.
Self Awareness Training for the Staff
The Staff Training on Self Awareness was arranged at Roshni Center. Sr. Anitha D’ Souza the coordinator for social work is the resource person of the day.
Eye Camp
Roshni Social Centre organized free eye camp for all the member s of Hangal Taluk. Through which 698 participated in the camp and 278 were selected for the operation in Lion’s hospital Sirsi at free of cost.
