The Open House program was organized in Havanagi Primary School. Panchayat members, Teachers, and Students were part of this program. Children put forth their problems of the school.
NREGA
National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme was implemented in Savansagi village. 48 members have benefited from this scheme.
Youth Leaders Training
Leadership Training was organized for unorganized youth at Nisseema Aladakatti, Hangal. 45 members were participated and became aware of the leadership qualities.
Exposure programme for Janavedike Leaders
A one-day Exposure program for Lokmanch leaders was arranged for Murdeshwar, Idugungi and the training was organized on Janavedike Sustainability. All together 50 Lokmanch Leaders and staff participated in it.
Health Camp
Roshni Social Action Centre organized a free Health Camp in Collaboration with Saptagiri hospital Bangalore, for all the people of Hangal Taluk. 368 members have benefited from it and 35 members are referred for the operation.
Self Awareness Training for the Staff
The Staff Training on Self Awareness was arranged at Roshni Center. Sr. Anitha D’ Souza the coordinator for social work is the resource person of the day.
Eye Camp
Roshni Social Centre organized free eye camp for all the member s of Hangal Taluk. Through which 698 participated in the camp and 278 were selected for the operation in Lion’s hospital Sirsi at free of cost.
TLM kits for Persons with Intellectuals Disabilities
In collaboration with Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation and
Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Teaching Learning Materials (TLM) distribution
programme was organized in Roshni Premises. With the help of CRC 8 kits were distributed to
the persons with intellectual disability. They have explained the use of this Kits.
Action Plans and Implementation of SHG
Women of Self Help Group cleaned the surroundings of villages of Hangal, by picking up plastics, cutting the thorny bushes, cleaning the water tank, cleaning the drinking water purifier in order to have a healthy environment. Visited the Anganvadies of nearby villages to get information & verify the supply of food distribution to the pregnant women and children.
Human Rights Protection Committee Preliminary Meeting
The training was organized on Human rights. Mr.N.B. Banakar was the resource person of the day. He explained the formation of the human rights protection committee. Mr. B.R Shettar ex CDPO, N.M Poojar former THO, C.B Patil Grama Panchayat member, Chaitra Kamble president of Women federation, Fairoz Ahmed, and 12 Janavedike leaders were present for the meeting.
