Friendship Day


On 2nd August 2025, the Dyamankoppa Children’s Panchayat celebrated Friendship Day by cleaning the Community Hall and spreading awareness about cleanliness among the people.

Environment Day at Malagunda

On 31st July 2025, the School Parliament, along with the students, celebrated Environment Day at Malagunda by highlighting the importance of the environment and distributing plants to the children.

Progressive Organization Meeting

On 28/07/2025, members of various progressive organizations of Hangal Taluk discussed issues concerning the staff of the Primary Health Centre, as well as problems faced by Anganwadi centres and primary schools.

Conceptual training for women’s self-help groups

On 28/6/2025 under the guidance of the Roshni Social Service Organization, members of the newly formed women’s self-help groups from Aaladakatti, Shivapura, Karagudari, Hanagal, and Mantagi villages were given training on the concept of self-help groups. They were also informed about saving practices, the benefits of savings groups, and the role of women.

Yoga Day Celebration

On 21/06/2025, Yoga Day was celebrated at the Vatsalya Childcare Centre. The children learned about the significance of yoga and its benefits for a healthy lifestyle, and participated in simple postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques.

Parents’ Capacity Building and Sensitization

On 20.06.2025   Parents’ Capacity Building and Sensitization Program was organized at the Shiggaon Taluk Panchayat. Training and information were provided on early intervention and early education program services, government social security schemes, child care, and the benefits of daily activities. Participants were also informed about self-employment opportunities and their advantages.

Training for SDMC members of 20 Village

On 19/06/2025, an Environment Awareness Program was held at the Roshni De-addiction Centre. On the same day, training for SDMC members was conducted in collaboration with Janavedike leaders. A total of 92 SDMC members from 20 villages participated. Mr. V. V. Salimath BEO of Hangal, served as the resource person and provided training to the members. The program was presided over by Sister Anita D’Souza, with the participation of Markendappa Mannammanavar, along with VDC and Janavedike leaders.
